Almost all of us have had to fill out an application to go to a school that requires a certain standard in order to be accepted. Often one of the questions are, how would you describe yourself? A range of emotions run through us as we weigh how humble to be, or sometimes we try to figure out what fit perhaps that institution is looking for, but what if someone were to ask you… How do others see you? How would you answer? How self aware are you? That is what this piece is about.

Without holding up a mirror, as your physical attributes will not help you answer this question, how would others describe your behaviour, your aura, your heart and your personality. It is a true gift to be able to truly know yourself and to be honest enough with yourself about your true character – warts and all. The concept of this piece is to help remind us that none of us are perfect, but if we strive to be open and see as many others perspectives as possible – the hope is to be able to see your own reflection through being on the constant learning curve of growth.

The leaves are mirrors to show that moment where there is beauty in accepting who you are – to know yourself will bring you peace, and tranquility.
